Central Community Volunteer Fire Department
The Central Community Volunteer Fire Department (CCVFD) has 5 part-time EMT’s, 8 part-time paramedics and approximately 45 volunteers. CCVFD has 3 paid positions Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with 2 paid positions Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. All other hours are given by volunteers. Our volunteers respond to approximately 526 calls per year.
Adell-Whitt Volunteer Fire Department
The Adell-Whitt Volunteer Fire Department (AWVFD) is ALS certified, with 3 part-time paramedics, 7 part-time EMTs, and 27 volunteers. AWVFD has 2 paid positions Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, with 1 paid position Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. All other hours are given by volunteers. AWVFD continues to grow, with approximately 160 calls per year, with no missed calls in the last 3 years.
